Fuel Storage Facilities

A DPA LoC US$26.75 million project for construction of 60 million litre Fuel Storage Facility for Petrol and Diesel. Construction began in March 2013 and has been completed. Located at three cities viz., at Lilongwe the capital, at Mzuzu 200 kms north of Lilongwe and Blantyre 350 kms south from Lilongwe. The Lilongwe Fuel Storage was officially commissioned on 6 December 2017 by H.E. Prof. Arthur Peter Mutharika, President of the Republic of Malawi and the Mzuzu Fuel Facility was officially commissioned on 20 July 2018 by Hon. Aggrey Masi, Minister of Natural Resources, Energy and Mining.
