India Africa ICT Expo 2020 1 to 2 December 2020

Africa continent continues to be one of the fastest growing one in ICT and there are several avenues for growth for the ICT sector – from e-commerce and e-services, mobile technologies, applications development, and automation to becoming a regional centre for the training of ICT professionals. The African region is an important trading territory for the Indian business community and the demand of Indian goods are increasing in the African continent.

To reiterate the relationship and commitment between India, Rwanda and other African countries, TEPC, with support of the Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications, Government of India, has planned to host the ‘India Africa ICT Expo & Conference’ during October 20-21, 2020. The event is being supported by the Ministry of Industry & Trade of Rwanda, as well as Smart Africa, RDB, RURA, RISA, ICT Chamber, NIRDA and RCB, all Government agencies working for the ICT sector playing a significant role in foreign investment and collaborations.

The Event will see participation of Pan-Africa countries like Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, Madagascar, Uganda, Mali etc on their DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION and Economic upliftment through Indian ICT solutions.

India has proven capabilities in the ICT Sector and should be a preferred destination for ICT Infrastructure requirements of high-speed broad band connectivity, Smart solutions and services for Digital enablement in the African region

The vision of a knowledge-based society is built on an edifice where IT and Telecommunications merge. Rapid technological convergence has already established a symbiotic relationship between the development strategies of IT and telecommunications. IT flourishes on the telecom-network and in turn permits modern day telecommunications to use sophisticated IT-software

The India Africa ICT Expo – with conference, exhibition pavilions, business meetings and strategies aims to promote eco-systems of Digital Transformation, and forever change the way of seeing things and doing business.
