The National Institute of Agricultural Extensions Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad established in 1987, is an apex level autonomous institute under the Ministry of agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India. Manage is having its focus on strengthening agricultural extension system in the country.
MANAGE has introduced two online educational programs of one year duration offered through MOOCs platform with a focus on Agricultural Extension and Agri- warehousing Management.
(1) One year Post Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Extension Management (PGDAEM - MOOCs)
The public extension system plays a vital role in transferring knowledge to farmers. Hence, extension personnel need to bee updated on the changes taking place in the agricultural sector in terms of production technology, market opportunities and policies of the government. MANAGE has been playing a key role in the endeavor. MANAGE has been implementing one year Post-Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Extension Management, PGDAEM – COOMs since 2017, for graduates who aspires to enrich their knowledge in Agricultural Extension Management.
The course is open to any graduate (only Indian nationals) i.e. students, officials, non-officials and others. There is No Age Limit to apply. The registration for PGDAEM – MOOCs 10th batch is open from 1st July 2021 to 30th September 2021. Total application fee to the course (PGDAEM - MOOCs) inclusive all is Rs 7000/- which is to be paid online. Payment of fees has to be made only after the acceptance of application by MANAGE.
(2) Post Graduate Diploma in Agri-warehousing Management (PGDAWM)
The policy initiates of the government of India has helped in bringing desirable changes in different components of agri-trade environment including agri-warehousing sector. In order to cater to the human resource requirements of the sectors, MANAGE has introduced an online educational program of one-year duration through MOOCs called Post Graduate Diploma in Agri-warehousing Management (PGDAWM) (brochure enclosed).
Any Indian national with a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University may apply for the course. The registration for the 6th Batch of the Course (PGDAWM) is open from 1st July 2021 to 30th September 2021.
