4. Gratis Visas: In view of the existing bilateral agreements/arrangements, all types of visas should be issued gratis to the nationals of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Jamaica, Maldives, Mauritius, Mongolia and South Africa. In respect of Seychelles nationals, all type of visas except for work/employment may be issued on gratis basis (conveyed vide Ministry's circular Email message dated April 01, 2015). Only Business, Tourist and Transit visas are to be issued on gratis basis to the nationals of Argentina. Similarly, only Tourist visas are to be issued on gratis basis to the nationals of Uruguay. Normal visa fee is applicable for all other type to visas in respect of these nationals.
5. Visa Free Countries: Nationals of Nepal and Bhutan do not require visa to enter India. However, Nepali nationals require visa if they enter India from China, which may be granted gratis.
6. Visa Fee for Pakistani Nationals: Pakistan nationals should be charged the existing fee of Rs. 100. The visa fee payable in MWK is 8000/- (including ICWF charges) for an Indian visa of all types.
7. Special Visa Fee Categories: In view of the existing bilateral agreements/arrangements, visa fee in respect of following countries will be as follows:
a) Singaporean Nationals: The charges for Tourist visa (Multiple entry) and valid for up to six months in respect of Singapore nationals will be US$ 25. The visa fee payable in MWK is 48000/- (including ICWF charges) However, fee for all other types of visas will be same as applicable for other countries mentioned in para 3 above.
b) Japanese Nationals: A fee of US$ 1. The visa fee payable in MWK is 7500/- (including ICWF charges for transit visa and US$ 8. The visa fee payable in MWK is 19500/- (including ICWF charges for all other types of visas may be charged from the nationals of Japan.

d) Nigerian Nationals: As conveyed vide Ministry's circular message dated March, 26, 2015, a uniform fee of US$ 250 to be charged for all types of visas valid for any duration (as per prevailing instructions) from the nationals of Nigeria. The fee payble in Malawi Kwacha is MK 430500/- (including ICWF charges)
e) USA Nationals: A fee of US$ 160 will be charged for Tourist visa for maximum period up to 10 years. The fee payble in Malawi Kwacha is MWK/- 277,500/-. Fee for 10 years validity Business visa issued to US nationals will be US$ 250 as well as for five years. The visa fee payable in MWK is 430500/- (including ICWF charges) (Tourist visa fee is inclusive of visa application fee of US$ 20). However, fee for all other types of visas will be same as applicable for other countries mentioned in Para 3 above. Visa application fee of US$ 20. The visa fee payable in MWK is 39,500/- (including ICWF charges) should be charged from US nationals in addition to visa fee (excluding Tourist visa and Business Visa).

8. Gratis Business & Employment Visas for LDC Applicants: As conveyed vide Ministry's circular message dated 14 December, 2015 business and employment visas (where applicable) to the applicants from Least Developed Countries (LDCs) to be issued on gratis basis. However, the service fee for the outsourcing company, wherever applicable, and the Indian Community Welfare Fund (ICWF) fee will continue to be charged from the business and employment visa applicants as well. The list of 48 LDCs is attached at Annexure-III.
Transfer of Visa: When an Indian visa affixed on an old passport is transferred to a new one, a service fee of US$ 5.00. The visa fee payable in MWK is 14000/- (including ICWF charges) should be charged. This fee should not be charged from the nationals of the countries mentioned in paras 3, 4 and 5.
9, Restricted/ Protected Area Permit: A fee of US$ 30 equivalent MWK 56500/- (including ICWF charges) introduced in March 2000 for issuing restricted/protected area permit should not be charged from the nationals of the countries mentioned in paras 3, 4 and 5.
* ICWF Charge: The above fee structure is inclusive of ICWF charges of MK 5,500/-.
