Quiz on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

High Commission of India, Lilongwe has been celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate 75 years of independence of India from March 2021 to August 15, 2022.

As part of the celebration, an online quiz titled “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM)” will also be organized from 1 to 31 January, 2022. The quiz will be open for overseas Indian / foreign youths in the age group of 16 to 35 years under the following three categories: People of Indian Origin (PIO), NRIs [Non Resident Indians], OCIs [Overseas Citizenship on India] and Foreign Nationals.

The quiz will be on the lines of ‘Bharat Ko Janiye Quiz’ (BKJQ) being held by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India as part of Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas celebrations. Registration for the quiz is expected to be open from November 2021 onwards.

In each category of participants, i.e., PIOs, NRIs, OCIs and Foreign Nationals, there will be three winners will be awarded with a Medal with the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ logo. The High Commission will also present certificates to winners and participants.
