Celebration of Gandhi Jayanti 2021

Today, High Commission of India celebrated 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the Nation at the Chancery premises. High Commissioner along with Indian Community and Friends of India in Malawi paid floral tribute to the Mahatma Gandhi bust at the Chancery.
In his remarks, High Commissioner highlighted relevance of Gandhiji’s thoughts and his philosophy in the contemporary world. Prof. Nandini Patel delivered a speech on “Reflections on Gandhi and the Black Liberation Struggle” and Dr. Daniel Sikawa, Dean, LUANAR University spoke on “The influence of Gandhi on Sustaining the Environment.”
