Government of India has launched "Official app Indian Visa Su-Swagatam" Mobile App to facilitate visitors intending to visit India. Through this, visitors would be facilitated with following visa related services:-

a) Apply for Visa- (Regular Visa, e-Visa, Visa on Arrival).

b) Online Foreigners Regional Registration Office (e-FRRO) services- Apply e-FRRO Services (like visa extension, visa conversion, exit-permit etc. in India).

c) Check Status- (i) Status of visa application.

(ii) Status of e-FRRO applications.

d) Notification -Advisories/notifications by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and Bureau of Immigration (BoI).

e) Language Assistance-Signage and Language converter (multi languages).

f) Chatbot- Help center for Applicant queries.

g) Nearby places- Foreigners would be facilitated in exploring nearby places like Tourist Places, Govt. Agencies, transport services, Entertainment, health services, Religious places, Lodging, Boarding facilities, etc.

(i) Medical Emergency- National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) accredited hospitals by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoH&FW).

(ii) Business in India- Make in India portal of Government of India.

(iii) Foreigner Safety- Ministry of Tourism Portal for all emergency and contacts helpline.

(iv) Tourism- Incredible India Portal of Ministry of Tourism to explore tourism places in India.

(v) Yoga and Spirituality- Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoH&FW) portal to get authentic institutes for practicing Yoga in India.

(vi) Foreign Exchange, Taxes & customs- User will be directed to RBI portal fort foreign exchange and customs related information.

In addition, currently, the App can be used for Business, Medical and Medical attendant visas. Users are free to use either of the options i.e. the online portal (https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/Registration -for Regular/ Paper visa and https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/Registration -for e-visa purposes) or the Mobile App Official app Indian Visa Su-Swagatam for submission of visa applications and seeking e-FRRO services.
